A delightful British dessert combining layers of rich caramel, fresh bananas, and silky whipped cream in a crunchy graham cracker crust.

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Dark chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of your pie dish.
  4. Bake the crust for about 10 minutes until set.
  5. Boil the sweetened condensed milk for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  6. Spread the cooled caramel over the crust.
  7. Arrange sliced bananas over the caramel layer.
  8. Whip the heavy cream with sugar until firm peaks form.
  9. Spread the whipped cream over the banana layer.
  10. Garnish with dark chocolate shavings.
