  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Burger buns
  • Cheese slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into equal portions (about 4 ounces each).
  3. Form into loose balls, then place them on the hot skillet and smash down with a spatula.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until a crust forms, then flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  6. If using cheese, add it on top and allow it to melt.
