  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Stir in the eggs, one at a time, along with the vanilla extract.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

These blondies are perfect on their own or served warm with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
