  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually stir into the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges turn golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
