  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar and granulated sugar until dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the flour, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly onto the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the toffee and let them melt slightly before spreading.
  7. Add the cinnamon sugar over the melted chocolate.
  8. Cool completely before cutting into bite-sized pieces.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Can be frozen for up to a month. For gluten-free, use gluten-free flour blend.
