A delicious and easy Lemon Herb Chicken dish that brightens up any meal with fresh flavors.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 lemons (juiced)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, ideally 2 hours.
  4. Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  5. Grill or bake the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve.

Notes
