A delightful peach cobbler with juicy peaches and a buttery, cakey topping, perfect for summer.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sliced peaches with 1/2 cup of sugar and ground cinnamon in a bowl. Toss gently and set aside.
  3. Mix the all-purpose flour, remaining 1/2 cup of sugar, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Stir in the milk and melted butter until all ingredients are well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and gently spoon the peach mixture over it.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
