Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract until well mixed.
  4. Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour, salt, and chopped pecans.
  5. Shape the dough into small balls and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Flatten each dough ball slightly using the bottom of a glass.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
