A delightful dessert combining salty pretzel crust, creamy filling, and sweet strawberry jello, perfect for parties and gatherings.

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup strawberry jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine crushed pretzels, granulated sugar, and melted butter in a mixing bowl.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. Let cool.
  5. Beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth in a separate bowl.
  6. Fold in the whipped topping.
  7. Spread this mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  8. Dissolve the strawberry jello in 2 cups of boiling water in another bowl.
  9. Stir in the cold water and then add sliced strawberries once cooled.
  10. Pour the jello mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until set.
  12. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Let the pretzel crust cool completely before adding the cream cheese layer for best results.
