A luscious dessert cake soaked in three types of milk, offering a moist and rich flavor experience perfect for celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Fresh fruit for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch pan to ensure your cake comes out easily after baking.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour and baking powder. Set this dry mixture aside for later use.
  3. Cream the softened butter and sugar together until it becomes light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually incorporate the flour mixture into the creamed mixture. Mix until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Set aside to cool completely.
  6. Whisk together the evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and whole milk until blended.
  7. Poke holes all over the top of the cooled cake. Pour the milk mixture evenly over the cake and let it absorb for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  8. Top your cake with whipped cream and garnish with fresh fruit if desired.

Notes
