A simple yet delicious dish with zesty lime and garlic flavors, perfect for summer barbecues or quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Chopped fresh herbs (such as cilantro or parsley)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and lime juice in a bowl.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to high heat.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade and shake off excess.
  5. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  6. Let the steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
  7. Serve with chopped fresh herbs on top.

Notes

For more flavor, marinate overnight and always slice against the grain for tenderness.
