A delicious and easy-to-make Korean BBQ chicken dish that is perfect for family dinners and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 60 minutes or overnight.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove chicken from the marinade, discarding any leftover marinade.
  5. Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Marinate the chicken overnight for best flavor. You can substitute chicken breasts for thighs if preferred.
