Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt and pepper
  • Taco shells or tortillas
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Lettuce, shredded
  • Tomato, diced
  • Onion, diced
  • Pickles
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Form the ground beef into small balls and place them on the skillet.
  3. Smash the beef balls down with a spatula to form patties. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until browned.
  5. Add cheese on top of the patties and let it melt.
  6. Warm the taco shells or tortillas.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing the patty in a shell and topping with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
  8. Serve immediately.
